The unattainable object of desire resides just beyond our grasp. A video image of the artist's right hand continually tries to possess a computer graphic jewel. Because the two are from utterly different worlds the goal is never reached. The message is clear but constantly worth remembering: what we desire cannot be obtained from an outside object but only from within ourselves.
