Runs Continuously, Never Repeats

Unique

A complexly angled and mirrored artwork, Visions is an illusion on the wall that defies its apparent depth. A motif of 'shapes within shapes' is echoed on the face of the work and in the unique software; which computes endless variations of the central design in motion and color.

The work's composition creates a relationship between the tangible and the subtle forms rendered throughout. It is a multifaceted work which cannot be seen in one glance. Most forms are hidden inside the cabinet where mirrors reflect the source of the imagery.

Through one window the viewer can see composite geometric figures arising from a shifting ground and deconstructing themselves by twirling and expanding upwards. The other window reveals the transformed pieces reassembling themselves in new ways as they eventually return to the ground.
